Sabanis Domaine Wines
Nestled in the heart of the winemaking region of Avlida, close to Athens, our winery boasts an exemplary wine production area. This area is specially designed to receive grapes immediately after harvest, ensuring a smooth and gentle circulation of must and wine. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including pneumatic presses, tanks for pre-fermentation cold maceration of white wines, and double-walled stainless steel fermentation tanks for both white and red vinification, we uphold the highest standards. Our isobaric bottling line completes the process, and in our new French oak barrels, the wine matures patiently. The charming Church of Saint Ioannis, standing gracefully at the entrance of our property, symbolizes hope and contributes to the seamless journey of each wine-producing process.
Matamis Winery
Founded in 2007, Matamis winery’s mission has always been to produce wines that not only highlight the unique qualities of Greek grape varieties but also showcase the rich viticultural heritage of Greece.
Led by Apostolos Matamis, a former scientist and highly respected consultant, the winery benefits from his vast experience and deep understanding of Greek viticulture.
